Strip-downRemove primary/secondary arms, clamp cylinders and center-drive coupling.
CleaningClean rails, drum surface and hydraulic/pneumatic components.
InspectionDrum roundness, rail parallelism, arm alignment, coupling backlash.
Rails & carriageAdjust or replace worn rails / travel wheels; restore synchronisation.
HydraulicsReplace loading-cylinder seals and pressure-test; verify valves.
CouplingInspect gear coupling for wear; replace worn elements.
Re-alignmentRe-set spool-to-drum parallelism; restore synchronising shaft.
Change testTurn-up and lay-on sequence, secondary-arm handover test.
Reel qualityParent roll ends square — no bubbles or steps.
