Shoe Press & Extended-Nip Press — On-Site Service

Hydraulic power unit, shoe assembly and lubrication metering manifold — on-site press-nip overhaul.

ScopeShoe press / extended-nip press (long-nip dewatering)
SystemHPU + shoe assembly + lubrication metering manifold

1 · Equipment Overview

FunctionLong-nip, high-load dewatering for higher dryness.
TypesOpen / closed; hydrodynamic / hydrostatic shoes.
CircuitsTank · filtration · HP circuit · lubrication · de-aeration.
OilsISO VG 220 in-roll, ISO VG 150 shoe/unit.

2 · Maintenance Process

Shutdown & depressurizeStop, depressurize, sample oil; record level and temperature.
Hydraulic unitInspect tank, filter elements, breather; tighten piping joints.
Shoe inspectionCheck shoe / piston assembly, pivot strips, inclined springs.
Seal renewalInspect and replace piston / bronze seals.
Valve verificationCalibrate equalising, proportional and unloading valves; relief valves annually.
Lubrication calibrationCalibrate manifold header pressure. ≈ 100 psi
Oil treatmentBypass filtration / dehydration; top up by grade — never mix brands.
Pressurise & loadBuild nip pressure; staged loading test.
Curve verificationVerify nip pressure curve against load setpoints.
Trial runCheck internal / external leakage, oil temperature and flow.
