Screen-basket geometry recovery by hydraulic rounding, screw-facing TIG build-up and PT verification.

ScopeTop separator screen body and screw

1 · Equipment Overview

Standard overhaul sequence: high-pressure wash → blasting → measurement → repair → PT → final inspection.

2 · Maintenance Process

HP washRemove black liquor, fibre and fouling with high-pressure equipment.
BlastingRemove rust and old coating by sandblasting.
Measurement & roundnessLaser survey of screen-body dimensions; hydraulic tooling to correct roundness.
Support-ring repairStraighten / repair bent support rings; restore geometry.
Weld repairTIG build-up of screw facing, shaft and sleeve fitting surfaces.
